Honda Accord Plug-in Price
Update: On November 29th, at the LA International Auto Show, Honda announced that the Accord Plug-in Hybrid would have an MSRP of $39,780 before incentives. Until details on the size of the battery pack are released, it’s estimated the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in will be eligible for up to $4000 of federal tax credits.
The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid was first unveiled at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show and featured a next-generation two motor hybrid system. The Accord Plug-in also uses regen braking in 3 different modes to maximize efficiency.
Honda hasn’t provided many details, except to say that the Accord Plug-in Hybrid will go on sale in January of 2013 as a 2014 model.
The Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid price still hasn’t been announced, but some speculate it will be right around the price of the Ford C-max Energi plug-in hybrid that will also go on sale in early 2013.
If the Accord Plug-in price is any higher than the C-max, Honda will have trouble selling this vehicle.
