I find the L2 charger very useful because it re-charges mine in 25 minutes and on the weekend when I have several tasks and returning to my home, I can manage to go total EV on the weekend too. I only live four miles from all my shopping and work.

Yes, it's the range after charge is complete. I haven't check it, but it appears pretty accurate. Another factor with dirving mileage variance is how you accelerate and if your going uphill; both of which drains the battery significantly more.

I've had mine for 4.5 months now and using a 240v charger. Ideal temperature I understand is at 72 degrees and I've seen the charges from 12.3 to 15.6 at 40 to 86 degrees. This morning at 82 degrees, it charged to 14.3.

I just read the sales report for the Accord PHEV for June. After driving the car for four months, it's a mystery to me that they have only sold 200 in five and a half months despite only being available in California and New York. Honda is not shipping enough or the price is scarying some...

Is there a temperature gauge on the Accord PHEV or does it have a dummy light that comes on when it's running too hot?

I drove about 100 miles yesterday all hybrid mode; 30 miles city, 70 highway and got 49MPG. On the way back I used 12.5 in EV and the remaining hybrid and got 53.3 MPG; both ways on the highway I was doing 70MPH with the airconditioning on.

Thanks for the response; I think your right. The place I was looing into is a car audio shop that does window tinting on the side; they will only do tinting from a pattern for the specific model.

I'm thinking of getting my windows tinted and wondering of there's any difference in window size between the 2014 4DR. Accord and the Accord PHEV. The window tint shop I've visited stated that the PHEV window tint kit is not listed.

Maybe I'm not any good at haggling and/or they spotted me out as someone that was determined to leave with the Accord Plug-in because they charged me about $1500.00 above MSRP in Tarrytown, NY.

Yes, the higher price of the vehicle is a negative aspect, however, if they're not selling well in NY, why do dealers insist on selling them above sticker price.
