    Completely Dead !!

While I would trust the diagnosis from your Honda dealer, because they would happily replace the battery for a warranty claim, any full service auto parts store near you should be able to test the 12V battery. An auto department at Sears or Walmart could also test it. You could also get an...

    Cold weather and electric miles

Can you park indoors? Keep the battery pack warm(er)? I'm surprised Honda is selling the Plug-in Accord in Maine, I thought it was just Cali and New York (which also has cold weather). Many (most?) people bought these cars to be able to use the carpool lane, not so much on all electric miles.

Price of Honda Accord Plug in

Late last year there were good lease deals in CA and NY. Apparently at least in the month of Oct there was a good lease deal in NY. You could come to the conclusion the Accord Plug isn't selling well in NY.

Rear-bumper Proximity Sensors for Accord Plug-in?

@rinthos - I'm now wiser, thank you. Sorry, I have no idea if you can add backup sensors to the Accord P-i system. I would guess the technical manual(s) would tell you if there's a connection for them to the ?NAV? unit. You might check to see if the wiring to the rear bumper is already in.

Accord Plug vs Prius Plug - any thoughts or insight?

A dealer "offered" to sell us an A P-i at sticker, which I guess is a favor this month. [Honda's year-end push of vehicles was successful.] We ended up in a base Prius P-i, at 26K. Just couldn't justify the extra $14K. The Prius P-i had a price reduction after the first or second model year...

Accord Plug vs Prius Plug - any thoughts or insight?

Thanks for your input! The reason to buy is to get in the HOV lane for a commuter.

Accord Plug vs Prius Plug - any thoughts or insight?

Is the Accord plug REALLY worth >$12.5K more than the Prius Plug? From the EPA stat's the Accord plug has (only) 9 cu ft more passenger volume, and 13 cu ft LESS luggage volume. All electric miles are similar (10). MPG not so different (slight advantage Prius). Both mid-size vehicles. Then...

    Cold weather operation

If they are using the same batteries as in the Fit EV, those vehicles report greatly reduced cold weather range/regen, if any range at all.

    Who bought Accord Plug in?

If you are getting "funny business" or funny numbers from your dealer, walk out and go somewhere else. You will be driving this vehicle for a while, and you don't want to regret trips to the service dep't. Honda needs a price cut, even Ford dropped their MSRP: See story at...

    Limited production of Accord Plug-ins

$37.5K is invoice. This car has a lot of competition, and Honda really needs to rethink the pricing. The Prius Plug-in while a bit smaller inside, shares the Prius legendary reputation and it's cult-like following. It's hard to believe people will pay so much more for the unproven Accord...

    Who bought Accord Plug in?

Here's the NY deal from Honda: 2014 Accord Plug-In CVT PHEV Featured Special Lease Offer valid from 11/5/2013 through 1/6/2014 $269.00 per month for 36 months. $3,299.00 total due at signing. Offer only available to residents of New York. Includes down payments with no security deposit...

    Who bought Accord Plug in?

Not seeing $10k applied to the vehicle or vehicle lease. This car needs a price cut in order to be competitive with the others in the class (who also have had recent price cuts). Here's how the CA lease "deal" seems to work out: 15084 total of lease payments (36 x 429) 3299 down 19000...
